Hello all, my name is Lydia. I'm new here & this is my 1st post... We as parents send our children off to school & carry on w/ the day like any other day, Right? Well, not on this day... You see, on October 11th 2006 my daughter Stephanie went off to school & by noon she was gone FOREVER. She passed away of an asthma attack while @ school. It happened durring P.E. class & the teacher was not present, she was in her office! She came out to see what was going on, when she heard all of the students screaming for HELP. But..? By then three classmates were ALREADY pulling Steph out of the pool. At 1st everyone assumed she had drowned, not so. Stephanie was a strong swimmer, the autopsy revealed it was an accute asthma attack. I've STRUGGLED w/ this for the past 3yrs & can't help but ask, "WHY?!" We lost our Steph to something that was so PREVENTABLE. I just MISS her so-so MUCH, I never got to say Good-bye.
